为什么答案会是B啊,我觉得应该是C...想不通...

我也选了C,但答案应该是B.
“To explain why the question is worth discussing.” 中所指的“question” 是指先前那两位学者讨论date的有关问题
所以事情其实是这样的
女生提问,为什么我们不应该是知道那些艺术品是什么时候做出来的呢,潜在的意思是说如果知道的话那两位学者就用不着讨论什么date不date的问题了啊.
于是教授说,不行不行,我们讲的是前期历史,也就是说他们是后人,所以不可能知道之前历史发生的事情（比如艺术品是什么时候造出来的这种事）,而且很明显artwork上没有签名也没有日期,所以那两个学者讨论date这个问题还是有意义的.
不过个人感觉题干没有把question是什么描述清楚 很容易让人误选啊～希望考试时不会这样...

带下划线的是That’s a fair question.吧？ 注意题目问的：是教授为何说 “学生提出这个问题是很正常的”， 证明这个问题困扰到学生是很正常的， 因此可以推断出—— 学生提出的这个问题值得大家一起来讨论。 选B 。 C是干扰选项。 托福的听力选项是很干扰人的， 选择的时候一定要仔细推敲， 比如这道题， 题目问的是教授为什么说That’s a fair question， 你就只能回答为什么教授要说这句话， 而不是后面没有被问到的句子。 简单来说就是，题目问什么，你答什么。不要想太多。

教授说的那句 当时的作者们是不会在作品上签或写上日期的，这句有点调皮的感觉。
